If you want to eat well and plentifully, you go to the Steintoreck. The food is super good. The service is always friendly and, especially on warm evenings, you sit comfortably outside. But even if it gets uncomfortable outside, it is super cozy in the rustic rooms. But you can also enjoy the great food at home. If you pre-order, you can take it with you quickly. Please help in this difficult time to maintain this place and make use of the out-of-house sale. Its worth it.

Never again!! Ready-made sauces and ready-made schnitzel and at completely exorbitant prices! I think 20 € for a ready-made schnitzel is a cheek! But one after anonther: Finding an (almost) empty restaurant at absolute prime time (evenings on the weekend) is not a good sign. Then we were allowed to wait 17 minutes for our drinks (5 € large cola, by the way). The side salad came BEFORE the starters ... The starter: ordered aioli, but got a large pot of MAYO. When asked about it, there was no excuse, just excuses that we would probably not taste the difference ... Although we received a new aioli afterwards (clear difference), but complaint management sees m. E. different. Main courses: As described above. Price / performance underground! You can eat schnitzel cheaper and better around Hanover. At the end there was an unexpected "cracker" ... We wanted to pay by card ... well, we did the bill without the Steintoreck. Card payment is not possible. But there was no trace of a hint before eating or before ordering! Also no notice or information sign ... In my opinion, a no go. That's it!

The staff was very friendly and attentive. My dessert was delicious, the main course gyros was not that convincing. Overall okay, you can do it.

We were in the Steintoreck with a larger group in September and will not visit the restaurant again. The interior is simple but cozy. I just never really know what the restaurant wants to be here. The ambience is mixed from rustic German to Italian to Greek. The staff is attentive and friendly. When you look at the map you are first killed. Every nationality is offered but only the house specialties are really enjoyable. We ordered the rump steak with pepper sauce, various Schitzel dishes and the honey-garlic gyros. The gyros was delicious. The schnitzels are ready-made schnitzel, not breaded themselves and are drowned in ready-made sauces. From my point of view, an absolute no-go. The rump steak was also drowned in the same sauce that the schnitzel was served with, but covered with an overdose of pepper. Less is more, reduces the card and increases the quality because your prices are outrageously high for what is on offer. For a ready-made schnitzel, I think it's steep. The large schnitzel costs even more. I like to spend more money on good quality, especially when it comes to meat. Unfortunately, the ratio does not fit here at all. It's cheaper and better in other restaurants. To charge 1 euro per serving for a small mini pot of mayo is a cheek. Something like that if you save on quality. There is one star for the staff and one for the rustic part of the restaurant. The poorly implemented variety of the menu and the poor quality of the ingredients predominate negatively when eating. Even the tasty honey-garlic gyros cannot save anything.

The food is delicious, the command tone of the wait staff is not for everyone. It is advisable to reserve in advance.

We waited 1 hour for our food. Then it was finally served and was cold. This kitchen doesn't even deserve 1 star. Service was very friendly!

We were treated very courteously, politely and happily in spite of the Corona and the obligation to wear a mask! The food was delicious and the selection was great! I can 100% recommend the Steintoreck!

Very nice and rustic atmosphere. The service is very attentive and friendly. We never had to wait long or make ourselves felt. The food was very good. We had four different menus and everyone was at the same time and hot at the table. We tried each other and it was all delicious. Price / performance fits. What should one say? Five stars 👍 Gladly again.

The food was delicious, the portions were generous. We ordered schnitzel sambal and chicken with mustard crust. Since we did not know the size of the portions, we ordered a few appetizers such as bread, olives, aioli, baked feta cheese ... Also this was mega delicious but not necessary, on the plates was then plentiful🤣 The service was very friendly and accommodating. The dog at the next table immediately got a bowl of water 😊👍 In terms of price, the stone gate is perfectly fine. Since the weather was great today, we ate outside. Although the places on the street are quasi, the cars or pedestrians do not bother. I barely noticed these. So we enjoyed it very much and will certainly look over there a second time.
